DE SOTO (4-1, 2-0) at SEAMAN (4-0, 3-0)
Seaman, ranked No. 2 in Class 5A by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, will square off with No. 6 De Soto in a key United Kansas Conference contest. Both teams are unbeaten in the UKC, with De Soto coming off a 66-28 win over Kansas City-Turner while Seaman rolled to a 63-35 win over Piper Tuesday night. Sophomore Anna Becker had 19 points, 6 assists, 3 steals and 3 3-pointers for Seaman in the win over Piper while junior Taylin Stallbaumer had 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 3s and junor Brooklyn Gormley added 10 points.
KC-BISHOP WARD (1-3) at HAYDEN (2-1)
Hayden went 2-1 in last week's Paul Terry Classic at Emporia, including a 47-26 win over Wichita Trinity on Saturday. Junior Lauren Sandstrom and sophomore Brylee Meier combined for 31 points for the Wildcats, with Sandstrom scoring 18 points and Meier adding 13, including four 3-pointers. Ward is 1-3 after a 64-3 loss to Chapman in the Irish Classic. The Cyclones' lone with was a 46-37 decision over Kansas City-Turner.
KC-TURNER (0-3, 0-2) at TOPEKA WEST (0-4, 0-4 through Tuesday)
Topeka West will be playing its third game of the week after playing at Lansing on Tuesday and at Junction City on Thursday. West pushed United Kansas Conference foe Lansing to overtime on Tuesday in a 58-53 defeat. The Chargers got 16 points from junior Zoe Clark and 12 from senior Jazmyn Ford. Turner is coming off a 66-28 UKC loss to De Soto on Tuesday.
ST. MARYS (1-3, 0-1) at SILVER LAKE (3-0, 1-0)
Silver Lake, second-ranked in Class 3A by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, got a test from Riley County in its most recent game, with the Eagles taking a 45-38 victory to remain undefeated. The Eagles will be at home Friday for a Mid-East League contest with St. Marys, with the Bears coming off a 40-29 league loss to Rock Creek.
KANSAS CITY CHRISTIAN (1-3) at ROSSVILLE (4-0)
Rossville won the tournament championship in last week's Irish Classic, capping its tournament run with a 56-47 win over host Chapman. Junior Emma Mitchell led the Bulldawgs with 20 points, followed by junior Kinsey Perine with 12 points and sophomore Shyanne Haehn with 10 points. Mitchell was named the tournament most valuable player and was joined on the all-tournament team by freshman Rylee Dick and Haehn. Kansas City Christian is coming off a 38-16 win over West Franklin.
HIGHLAND PARK (1-1, 0-0) at KC-WYANDOTTE (1-1, 1-0)
Highland Park posted a 68-9 non-league rout over Kansas City-Southeast, Mo. Tuesday night and will open Meadowlark Conference play Friday. Sophomore Amelia Ramsey had a monster double-double against Southeast, finishing with 27 points and 24 rebounds. Sophomore Tahtionna Broils added 13 points for the Scots while sophomore Mariah Parker-Brown had 12 points with three 3-pointers and junior Angelique Gown-Britt had 11 points. Wyandotte is coming off a 46-24 Meadowlark Conference win over KC-Schlagle.
SHAWNEE HEIGHTS (3-1, 1-1) at LEAVENWORTH (0-4, 0-1)
Shawnee Heights continued its hot start to the season with a 48-40 United Kansas Conference win over Basehor-Linwood Tuesday at Heights. Junior Breezy Canady led Shawnee Heights with 16 points, while senior Taylor Rottinghaus had 12 points and senior Emari Doby came up just short of a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Leavenworth is coming off a 45-39 loss to Pea Ridge, Ark. in the Joplin, Mo. tournament.
