JACK DONOVAN, Rossville

A 5-foot-11 sophomore guard, scored a total of 58 points with 10 3-pointers in Rossville's three tournament wins, helping lead the Bulldawgs to the tournament championship in the Oskaloosa Invitational. Donovan capped his big week with a 28-point performance in Saturday's 57-37 win over Perry-Lecompton in the championship game. Donovan hit four 3-pointers against the Kaws and went 6 of 6 at the free throw line. An all-tournament pick, Donovan scored 19 points in a 71-38 win over Oskaloosa and had 11 points in a 57-38 semifinal win over Jefferson County North.

McKINLEY KRUGER, Silver Lake

Kruger, a 5-foot-6 senior guard, was named the Most Valuable Player in the Burlington Invitational after helping lead top-ranked (Class 3A) and undefeated Silver Lake to the tournament championship. Kruger scored 17 points in a 69-17 first-round win over Sabetha, scored 21 points in a 66-26 semifinal victory over Independence and had 16 points in the Eagles' 64-46 championship-game win over Ottawa.

IMANI McGLORY, Topeka West

A 5-foot-6 sophomore guard, McGlory scored a career-high 29 points while connecting on seven 3-pointers in Topeka West's 55-36 home United Kansas Conference win over Leavenworth Friday night, helping the Chargers improve to 4-5 overall and 3-5 in the UKC. McGlory also hit three 3-pointers in limited time in the junior varsity game, giving her 10 treys on the night.

JA'COREY ROBINSON, Highland Park

A 6-foot-5 junior, Robinson recorded three straight double-doubles in the Topeka Invitational Tournament, helping lead third-ranked (Class 5A) Highland Park to a runnerup team finish. Robinson scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a 77-44 first-round win over Lawrence, scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 67-52 semifinal victory over Shawnee Mission North and had 16 points with 15 rebounds in Saturday's 64-61 championship-game loss to eighth-ranked (6A) Wichita Northwest.

LAUREN SANDSTROM, Hayden

Sandstrom, a 6-foot senior, recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds in No. 2-ranked (Class 3A) Hayden's 55-29 non-league home win over No. 10-ranked (Class 5A) Shawnee Heights. A Rockhurst signee, Sandstrom helped the Wildcats improve to 8-1 on the season entering this week's Hiawatha Invitational. Sandstrom has averaged 23.3 points over her past three games.

BRAYDEN SHORTER, Washburn University

A 6-foot-5 freshman, Shorter gave Washburn men's basketball team a big lift off the bench in two home MIAA victories last week. Shorter, a Springfield, Mo. native, scored 14 points with four 3-pointers in a 70-65 win over Missouri Southern last Wednesday and scored 13 points with a pair of 3-pointers and a dunk in Saturday's 81-74 victory over Pittsburg State as the Ichabods improved to 12-5 overall and 8-3 in the MIAA.
