Hayden's girls soccer team shared the wealth in Tuesday's 5-0 home non-league win over Tonganoxie, with five different players scoring goals as the Wildcats boosted their record to 4-2 on the season.

Hayden got first-half goals from juniors Kate Roeder and Riley Schmidtlein before sophomore Jenessa Broxterman and freshmen Lauren Sandstrom and Jill Lenherr added second-half goals.

Broxterman, Sandstrom, junior Abby Dodd and sophomore Piper Wrench were credited with assists while seniors Rhen Calhoon and Olivia Schmitz combined for the shutout in goal.

Rural soccer blanks Scots

Ten different players scored goals as Washburn Rural improved to 4-1-1 on the season Tuesday with a 10-0 win over Highland Park at McElroy Field.

The game ended at halftime due to the 10-goal spread.

The Junior Blues got goals from seniors Brynn Fitzgibbons, Riley Palmer and Izzy Entz, juniors Hunter McWilliams, Belle Kennedy, Sheriden Wichman, Reagan Allen and Alandra Bailey and sophomores Brianna Jones and Maya Hoge.

Kennedy was credited with four assists while senior Joy Ngibuini, junior Emma Krueger, sophomore Mackinly Rohn and Jones were also credited with assists.

Sophomore Hailey Beck picked up the shutout in goal.

Seaman posts 3-0 soccer win

Seaman posted a 3-0 home non-league soccer win over Lansing Tuesday night, led by sophomore Brooklyn Yingling's two goals.

All three of the Viking goals came in the second half, with freshman Marin Schuler also adding a goal.

Junior Avary Polter, sophomore Jaycee Schumann and sophomore Carstyne Anderson were credited with assists while senior Emma Meinholdt registered the shutout in goal for the Vikings.

Lion soccer blanks KC Christian, 5-0

Freshman Katherine Keys scored a goal and had two assists as Cair Paravel Latin shut out Kansas City Christian 5-0 on Tuesday.

The Lions also got goals from sophomore Tess Ewing, freshman Corinne Stapleton, sophomore Sage Schwartz and senior Alyssa Carlson  while Schwartz added an assist.

Sophomore goalkeeper Audrey Smith picked up the shutout as Cair Paravel improved to 3-2.

T-Bird soccer improves to 3-1

Shawnee Heights' girls soccer team won for the third time in four games Tuesday, taking a 2-0 road win over United Kansas Conference rival Leavenworth.

The T-Birds took the win with two second-half goals, from sophomore Lily Martin and sophomore Kayln Walter.

Sophomores Abby Fleischer and Peyton Hack were credited with assists while senior Bailey Hughes and junior Tatum Hoage combined for the shutout in goal.

Seaman golf second at Salina

Seaman finished second in Monday's Salina Central Invitational at Salina Municipal, with juniors Gavin Wilhelm, Tim Biggs and Jake Moss all posting top-five individual finishes.

Wilhelm placed second individually with a 79 while Biggs was fourth with an 80 and Moss fifth with an 81.

Vikind senior Reid Cowan finished in a tie for 13th with an 89 while freshman Zach Weir placed 15th with a 91 and senior Josiah Farrant was 23rd with a 99.

Seaman finished with a team score of 329, four strokes behind team champion Hutchinson.

Hutchinson sophomore Ty Adkins took medalist honors with a 70.

Valdivia's 78 paces Heights golf team

Sophomore Alex Valdivia finished fifth individually with a 78 in Tuesday's Blue Valley North Invitational at the Country Club of Leawood.

Shawnee Heights, which finished seventh as a team, also got an 89 from senior Ethan Rottinghaus, a 90 from senior Kyler Ortiz, a 91 from sophomore Aiden Jones and a 95 from senior Tyler Peterson.
