Eighteen Shawnee County high school softball standouts have received first-team All-State honors from the Kansas Softball Coaches Association, including seven first-team selections.
Washburn Rural senior pitcher Emmerson Cope and Topeka High senior infielder Adisyn Caryl were named to the All-6A first team for the third straight season while Rural freshman infielder Reagan Chapman was also a first-team All-6A pick.
Seaman senior infielder Aspen Burgardt earned first-team recognition in 5A while Rossille senior pitcher Brinley Dyche, Rossville junior infielder Kinsey Perine and Silver Lake sophomore infielder Taylor Zordel received first-team honors in 3A.
Dyche and Perine were first-team All-3A repeat picks after helping lead the Bulldawgs to the 3A state championship while Burgardt moved up to the first team after being a second-team pick in 2022.
Topeka High senior catcher Alesia Alvarez was a second-team selection in 6A as were Washburn Rural senior outfielder Kaci Bath and Rural senior utility/designated player Piper Titsworth.
Washburn Rural freshman catcher Henley Rapp, Topeka High senior infielder Quincy Smith and High utility/designated player Jo'Mhara Benning received All-6A honorable mention.
Shawnee Heights sophomore pitcher Grace Proctor and Seaman junior outfielder Paige Glasgow were named to the All-5A second team.
Silver Lake junior outfielder Kaibryn Kruger and Rossville junior utility/designated player Kalei Hale were second-team picks in 3A while Silver Lake sophomore Kendra Cook received honorable mention.
