AUDREY APPUHN, Washburn Rural
A sophomore, Appuhn capped her freshman season with a pair of top-four individual finishes in the Class 6A state meet, taking third in the 200-yard individual medley and fourth in the 500 free while also helping Rural win 'B' finals (ninth place) in the 200 medley and 400 free relays. Appuhn won four golds (two individual, two relays) in the city meet to earn All-City honors as the Junior Blues won their 20th straight team title and also won four golds in the Centennial League meet, earning all-league recognition, as Rural won its third straight title.
ELLA BOMBARDIER, Washburn Rural
Bombardier, a senior, earned second-team All-City honors in 2023 as Washburn Rural won its 20th straight city team title. Bombardier finished third in the Centennial League meet in the 50-yard freestyle and sixth in the 500 free.
HARA DEL CASTILLO, Topeka High
A sophomore, Del Castillo earned All-City honors as a freshman, finishing second in the 200-yard individual medley and third in the 100 backstroke in the city meet. Del Castillo also earned first-team All-Centennial League recognition, placing second in the 100 backstroke and third in the 200 individual medley for the Trojans. Del Castillo competed in the 6A state meet in the 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley.
JOSLYNN GRACE, Seaman
Grace, a junior, earned second-team All-State honors in 5A-1A last season after finishing fifth in the 200-yard individual medley, eighth in the 100 breaststroke and on the Vikings' third-place 200 free relay and fifth-place 200 medley relay. Grace won city titles in

LAILAH BENZ, Shawnee Heights
A junior, Benz was a repeat first-team All-City honoree last spring as a sophomore for the 7-10-0 T-Birds and was also a first-team All-United Kansas Conference selection for the second straight season. Benz earned All-Class 5A honorable mention from the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association last season.
ZAHRA FRIESS, Cair Paravel Latin
A junior forward, Friess helped lead Cair Paravel to a 16-2-1 record last season, earning a spot on the All-City team for the second straight season. Friess earned All-4A-1A first-team honors from the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association in 2023.
DESTINY HIGGS, Washburn Rural
Higgs, a junior, earned All-Centennial League first-team recognition last season as well as All-6A honorable mention from the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association.
KATE HINCK, Washburn Rural
A junior forward, Hinck earned first-team All-City and All-Centennial League recognition for the second straight season. Hinck, who received All-6A honorable mention from the KHSSCA, helped the Junior Blues post a 15-5-1 record en route to the Centennial title

MYLES ALONZO, Topeka West
A senior, Alonzo shot a 36-hole score of 143 to tie for 12th in the 2023 Class 5A state tournament, earning his second state medal. Alonzo finished second in the city tournament with an 80, tied for third in the United Kansas Conference meet with a 77 and tied for third in 5A regional competition with a 79. Alonzo is a three-time All-Shawnee County first-team selection.
TADD ARMSTRONG, Washburn Rural
Armstrong, a junior, has been a second-team All-Shawnee County pick the past two seasons. Armstrong tied for sixth in last season's city tournament with an 84 and tied for ninth in Class 6A regional competition with an 81 as Washburn Rural earned a team berth for state. Armstrong carded an 81 at state.
BRYCE BADSKY, Silver Lake
Badsky, a senior, earned a Class 3A state medal for the third straight season, shooting a 36-hole score of 157 to tie for 16th place. Badsky took medalist honors in the Mid-East League Tournament with an 80 and also captured an individual regional championship with a 77. Badsky is a three-time All-Shawnee County first-team pick.
HAYDEN GLYNN, Washburn Rural
A senior, Glynn advanced to the second round of the Class 6A state tournament with a first-round 77 and finished at 162. Glynn tied for sixth in the Centennial League tournament with a 79, placed eighth in the city meet with an 85 and tied for ninth in 6A regional competition with an 81.

DYLAN DODGE, Washburn Rural
A senior, Dodge earned a berth on the 2023 All-City team by teaming with Keegan Knudtson to win the city championship in No. 2 doubles. Dodge and Knudtson also posted a second-place finish in Class 6A regional competition last spring to help Washburn Rural win the team championship. Dodge and Knudtson competed the '23 6A state tournament.
DREW FAY, Cair Paravel Latin
Fay, a sophomore, qualified for the 2023 Class 3A-1A state tournament last spring in Cair Paravel Latin's first season of fielding a tennis program. Fay posted a 21-12 record in singles competition as a freshman.
KEEGAN KNUDTSON, Washburn Rural
Knudtson, a sophomore, teamed with Dylan Dodge to win the city championship in No. 2 doubles last spring. Knudtson and Dodge posted a second-place finish in Class 6A regional competition to earn a berth in the 2023 6A state tournament while helping Washburn Rural win the regional team championship.
JOSEPH LUKE, Hayden
A senior, Luke earned All-City honors for the first time last season, teaming with Gus Glotzbach to finish fifth in the Class 4A state tournament. Luke and Glotzbach finished third in the city meet in No. 1 doubles and went on to finish second in the Centennial

ANNA BECKER, Seaman
A 5-foot-11 junior, Becker scored 15 points with 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in Saturday's 54-41 Seaman win over Maize South in the Class 5A girls basketball state championship game at Emporia as the Vikings captured their first girls state title since 1991. A Drake University commit, Becker was named the United Kansas Conference player of the year for the second straight season.
MADDIE GRAGG, Seaman
Gragg, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in Saturday's 54-41 Class 5A state championship-game win over Maize South at Emporia as Seaman won its first girls state basketball title since 1991. Gragg received All-United Kansas Conference first-team recognition for the second straight year.
KAILYN HANNI, Silver Lake
A 5-foot-7 sophomore, Hanni scored 26 points in Saturday's 66-61 Silver Lake win over Hesston in the Class 3A girls state championship game in Hutchinson as the Eagles capped a perfect 26-0 season. Hanni went 14 of 15 at the free throw line in the final, including several clutch charities in the closing minutes. Hanni was the lone sophomore on the All-Mid-East League first team.
