Silver Lake and Rossville will be well-represented in Friday's Class 3A state track meet in Wichita after combining to earn state berths in 27 events in the 3A regional at Osage City.
Silver Lake's girls placed second as a team in the Osage City regional and qualified for state in nine events while the Eagles finished third in the boys team standings and qualified in 10 events.
Rossville qualified for state in three boys events and five girls events, including three individual titles.

Silver Lake junior Brogan Renfro was the boys champion in the triple jump (41 feet) while junior Carson Johnson won the 300-meter hurdles (41.65 seconds).
Renfro also qualified for state with a second-place finish in the 200 (23.03) and a third-place finish in the 100 (11.59) while Johnson qualified in the 110 hurdles with a third-place showing (17.05).
Silver Lake's boys qualified second in all three relays, clocking a time of 8:31.91 in the 4x800, 44.36 in the 4x100 and 3:37.99 in the 4x400.
Rossville senior Woodrow Rezac placed second in the boys 100 (11.50) and third in the 200 (23.14).
Rossville sophomore Amelia Foster and junior Briar Gillum combined for three girls victories at regionals, with Foster winning the 400 (60.16) and the 800 (2:34.02) while Gillum won the shot put (41-2.50) and also finished second in the discus (113-4).
Silver Lake's girls claimed a regional title in the 4x800 relay in a time of 10:37.08 while Rossville placed second in 10:46.87.
The Eagles qualified for state in all three girls relays, placing fourth in the 4x100 (52.59) and second in the 4x400 (4:17.29).
