Silver Lake's girls golf team placed all of its top four players in the top 13 places individually en route to a Class 3A-1A regional championship Monday at Council Grove Country Club.
Eagle sophomore Madeline Fieger and freshman Taylor Zordel tied for eighth place individually with 18-hole scores of 101 to pace Silver Lake.
The Eagles also got a 12th-place finish from sophomore Kate Osterhaus (107) and a tie for 13th from Olivia Day (108) to round out their four scorers as Silver Lake edged Council Grove by a 417-419 margin to take the team title.
Rossville finished ninth as a team, led by freshman Jaimie Woodward's 133.
Santa Fe Trail sophomore Braegan Buessing took medalist honors with a 91.
The 3A-1A state tournament will be played next Monday and Tuesday at Hesston Golf Course.
