Washburn's women's basketball team will continue its suddenly-hectic schedule at 6 p.m. Tuesday, hosting Lincoln in an MIAA makeup contest at Lee Arena.

The Ichabods, who are set to play their third home game in six days, will take a 4-5 record into their matchup against the 0-9 Blue Tigers in a game that was originally scheduled for Dec. 19 but postponed due to COVID-19 protocols involving Lincoln.

Washburn is coming off a tough 69-61 overtime loss to Pittsburg State, which snapped a two-game Ichabod winning streak.

Washburn has won all 31 previous contests with Lincoln, which is coming off a 93-71 loss at Central Oklahoma.

Senior Hunter Bentley averages a team-high 15.2 points and 7.6 rebounds for the Ichabods while junior Nuria Barrientos averages 11.7 points and a team-high 8 rebounds.

Sophomore Abby Oliver is coming off three straight double-figure games and is averaging 9.3 points and 4.9 rebounds.

Niyah Jackson averages a team-best 15.2 points for Lincoln while AJ Bradley averages 10 points.

After Tuesday night's home contest the Ichabods will plays three straight road games, beginning with a Saturday game at Emporia State.
