ANDREW BONEBRAKE, Shawnee Heights

Bonebrake, a junior 132-pounder, posted a 35-11 record last season, won a United Kansas Conference championship and was a Class 5A state qualifier, earning All-Shawnee County honorable mention. Bonebrake is ranked No. 3 at 132 pounds in the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association preseason 5A state rankings.

 EASTON BROXTERMAN, Washburn Rural

A sophomore, Broxterman advanced to the 6A state championship match at 106 pounds as a freshman, finishing second for the state-champion Junior Blues and posting a 39-6 record. Broxterman, a Centennial League champion, was named the Shawnee County newcomer of the year and was a first-team all-county pick. He is currently ranked No. 2 at 106 pounds in the KWCA's 6A and All-Class preseason rankings.

TRISTAN BUCE, Shawnee Heights

Buce is being counted on to be an immediate contributor as a freshman for Shawnee Heights at 106 pounds. Buce has extensive Kids Wrestling experience, placing in multiple state tournaments.

BRODY BYRNE, Washburn Rural

Byrne, a junior, won a Centennial League championship last season and was a first-team All-Shawnee County selection after posting a 27-14 record. Byrne is No. 6-ranked in the KWCA preseason 6A state rankings at 157 pounds.

JACOB CARVER, Rossville

A two-time TopSports.news All-Shawnee County Top 22 pick in football, Carver was a 3A-1A regional champ and finished second in the state tournament at 285 pounds last season as a junior. Carver, a first-team All-Shawnee County wrestling pick last season, is top-ranked at 285 pounds in the KWCA's 3A-1A preseason rankings and is No. 6 in the All-Class rankings.

RYKAN CARVER, Shawnee Heights

Carver, a 285-pound junior, was a United Kansas Conference champion and a 5A state qualifier last seaon while posting a 17-11 record. Carver received All-Shawnee County honorable mention last season and is ranked No. 3 at 285 in the KWCA's 5A preseason rankings.

NICK FREELAND, Shawnee Heights

Freeland, a senior 150-pounder, was a United Kansas Conference champion and a 5A state qualifier last season, posting a 35-15 record. Freeland was a second-team All-Shawnee County selection as a junior.

EVAN JOHNSON, Shawnee Heights

Johnson is expected to make an immediate contribution for Shawnee Heights as a freshman this season, most likely at 150 or 157 pounds. Johnson is a multi-time state placer in the Kansas Kids Wrestling ranks.

BARRETT LIETZ, Rossville

Lietz, a TopSports.news All-Shawnee County Top 22 pick in football, was a regional wrestling champ last season as a sophomore. Lietz earned All-Shawnee County honorable mention in 2021-2022 and is ranked fourth in the 3A-1A KWCA preseason rankings at 215 pounds. 

COLIN LITTLE, Seaman

A junior, Little earned All-Shawnee County second-team recognition last season as a sophomore and was a 5A state qualifier, posting a pair of state tournament wins.

KRISTJAN MARSHALL, Washburn Rural

A sophomore, Marshall was a first-team All-Shawnee County selection as a freshman at 152 pounds, compiling a 28-19 record and placing second in the Centennial League tournament. Marshall is ranked No. 4 in 150 pounds in the KWCA's preseason 6A rankings.

HENRI McGIVERN, Washburn Rural

McGivern, a senior, posted a fifth-place finish in the 2022 6A state tournament for the state-time Junior Blues, posting a 21-9 record on the season and earning second-team All-Shawnee County honors. McGivern is ranked third in the KWCA preseason rankings at 120 pounds.

DEYTON MENTZER, Seaman

Mentzer earned second-team All-Shawnee County recognition as a freshman after winning a Centennial League individual championship in the 170-pound division.

LANDEN KOCHER-MUNOZ, Washburn Rural

Kocher-Munoz is expected to be one of the state's premier freshmen for Washburn Rural after winning multiple Kansas Kids Wrestling state championships and wrestling on the national level.

HUNTER RENO, Seaman

A junior, Reno was a 5A state qualifier for the Vikings as a freshman in 2021 and earned second-team All-Shawnee County recognition. Reno finished third in the Centennial League tournament in the 182-pound division last season.

COOPER STIVERS, Washburn Rural

A freshman, Stivers is expected to make an immediate impract for Washburn Rural, the two-time defending 6A state team champion. Stivers is ranked No. 8 at 106 pounds in the KWCA's preseason All-Class rankings.

JAXSON THOMAS, Seaman

Thomas, a senior, received second-team All-Shawnee County recognition last season after winning a Centennial League individual championship and qualifying for the state meet with a third-place finish in 5A regional competition. Thomas is ranked No. 5 in the KWCA preseason rankings at 285.

MASON VICKERS, Topeka West

A senior, Vickers earned second-team All-Shawnee County honors last season at 138 pounds after finishing second in the Centennial League tournament and is expected to be a team leader for the Chargers.

KADEN WALKER, Silver Lake

Walker, a junior, received All-Shawnee County honorable mention last season after qualifying for the 3A-1A state tournament with a runner-up finish at regionals. Walker is ranked No. 6 in the KWCA 3A-1A preseason rankings at 215 pounds.

SEAN WUNDER, Shawnee Heights

Wunder posted a 40-10 record last season for the T-Birds, winning a United Kansas Conference championship, finishing second at regionals and finishing fourth in the 5A state tournament at 195 pounds. A returning first-team All-Shawnee County honoree, Wunder is ranked No. 2 in 5A at 215 pounds by the KWCA.
