IZZY GLOTZBACH, Hayden
A sophomore, Glotzbach competed in the Class 4A state tournament for Hayden last season, with the Wildcats finishing third as a team. Glotzbach placed sixth in the city championship as a freshman and finished ninth in the Centennial League tournament, tied for 12th at regionals and was a second-team all-league and All-Shawnee County honoree.
AVERY GRUNERT, Hayden
Grunert, a senior, ended her junior season with a tie for 14th place in the Class 4A state tournament, helping lead the Wildcats to a third-place team finish while earning first-team All-Shawnee County recognition. Grunert placed 10th in the city meet, was seventh in the Centennial League tournament and tied for 10th in 4A regional competition, helping Hayden qualify for state as a team with a second-place finish. Grunert earned All-Shawnee County second-team honors as a sophomore.
RAEGAN PETERSEN, Washburn Rural
Petersen, a senior, had a breakout junior season for the Junior Blues, capped by a 15th-place finish in the Class 6A state tournament as Washburn Rural finished fourth as a team, just two strokes out of second place. Petersen was the city runnerup as Rural captured its 10th straight city team
title. She finished eighth in the Centennial League meet and tied for 14th in regional competition. Petersen earned second-team All-Shawnee County recognition as a sophomore, tying for 22nd place in 6A as Rural finished second as a team.
NATALIE PETERSON, Washburn Rural
A junior, Peterson received second-team All-Shawnee County recognition last season after posting a ninth-place finish in the city tournament and a 10th-place showing in the Centennial League tournament. Peterson finished 19th in 6A regional competition and competed for the fourth-place Junior Blues at state.
REECE RANDALL, Washburn Rural
A junior, Randall earned second-team All-Shawnee County recognition in 2022, narrowly missing a Class 6A state medal with a 22nd-place finish as the Junior Blues finished fourth as a team. Randall finished fifh in the city tournament, sixth in 6A regional competition and placed 17th in the Centennial League tournament.
HANNAH REYNOLDSON, Hayden
Reynoldson, a senior, earned All-Centennial League and second-team All-Shawnee County recognition last season after helping lead the Wildcats to a third-place team finish in the Class 4A state tournament. Reynoldson tied for 21st individually after placing sixth in the Centennial League tournament and ninth in 4A regional competition.
AVERY SAMUELSON, Seaman
Samuelson, a senior, earned second-team All-Shawnee County honors the last two seasons. Samuelson posted a third-place individual finish in Class 5A regional competition to help the Vikings win the team title and qualify as a team for state. She tied for 18th at state and finished fifth individually in the United Kansas Conference tournament for the team-champion Vikings.
AVERY ZIMMERMAN, Topeka High
A senior, Zimmerman qualified for the Class 6A state tournament as an individual for the second straight season and went on to finish in 46th place at state. Zimmerman placed seventh individually in the city tournament, 15th in the Centennial League tournament and earned her berth in the state tournament with a tie for 23rd place at regionals. Zimmerman has been a two-time All-Shawnee County first-team pick.
JAYCEE ZIMMERMAN, Seaman
Zimmerman, a junior, was a second-team All-Shawnee County pick last fall after placing second in the United Kansas Conference tournament as the Vikings rolled to a 51-stroke win in the team standings. Zimmerman also placed fourth individually in the city championships and helped Seaman to a Class 5A regional title on a tiebreaker. She helped the Vikings place sixth as a team at state.
TAYLOR ZORDEL, Silver Lake
A first-team All-Shawnee County pick last season, Zordel, a junior, earned her second straight Class 3A-1A state medal, posting a tie for seventh in 2022 after tying for 16th at state as a freshman. Zordel tied for sixth individually in 3A-1A regional competition, helping the Eagles earn a team berth for state with a fourth-place finish. Zordel earned second-team All-Shawnee County honors as a freshman.
