A junior, Carpenter advanced to the Class 6A state tournament last fall in doubles, teaming with Adisyn Caryl to earn a trip to the state tournament with a fourth-place regional finish.

Caryl, a junior, competed for the Trojans in the 6A state tournament last fall in doubles, teaming up with Carpenter for a fourth-place regional finish. A two-time state qualifier in tennis, Caryl also plays basketball and softball for High, helping the Trojans win a 6A softball state title last spring.
Kate Fritz, Washburn Rural
A junior, Fritz competed in the 2020 6A state tournament for Rural, teaming with Meredith Kucera to win a Class 6A regional championship. Fritz, a two-time state qualifier, and Kucera took third in doubles in the Centennial League tournament.

Kucera, a junior, advanced to the 6A state tournament for the Junior Blues last fall, teaming with Fritz to win a 6A regional championship. Kucera and Fritz placed third in the Centennial League tournament. Kucera is a two-time state qualifier.
Anna Newcome, Topeka West
Newcome, a senior, competed for Topeka West in both singles and doubles last season and will be counted on to be a team leader for the Chargers in the 2021 campaign. Newcome came within a win of reaching state in a limited field in '20 due to COVID, losing in a tiebreaker.
Lauren Sandstrom, Hayden
A sophomore, Sandstrom qualified for the 4A state tournament in singles for the Wildcats last fall as a freshman, placing fourth in regional competition.
Emily Sheetz, Hayden
Sheetz is expected to crack Hayden's starting lineup this fall as a freshman in either singles or doubles.
Alivia Sherer, Rossville/Hayden
Sherer will compete in regular-season matches as a co-op player for Hayden before competing for Rossville in 3A-1A postseason competition.
Lauren Sweeney, Seaman
A junior, Sweeney teamed with Grace Unruh to win city, Centennial League and 5A regional doubles championships before posting a fourth-place finish in the 5A state meet. Sweeney is a two-time state qualifier.

Unruh, a senior two-time state medalist, teamed with Sweeney to sweep the doubles championships in city, Centennial League and 5A regional competition before posting a fourth-place finnish in the 5A state meet.
Sheriden Wichman, Washburn Rural
A senior, Wichman was a Class 6A state medalist in doubles as a freshman and is the two-time defending city singles champion, advancing to the state tournament in singles the last two seasons. Wichman placed second in the Centennial League in singles in 2020.
Ainzley Zulueta, Hayden
Zulueta will be counted on to make an immediate impact for Hayden and in 4A competition this fall as a promising freshman.
