Drew Baxter, Seaman
A senior, Baxter received first-team All-City and All-Centennial League honors in 2020 after helping lead the Vikings to a 28-8 record, the Centennial League championship and Seaman's first berth in the Class 5A state tournament since '04. Baxter, second-team All-City as a sophomore, recorded 212 kills, 424 assists and 117 digs while contributing 44 service aces.
Laynee Brown, Seaman
Brown, a junior libero, was a first-team All-City and All-Centennial League selection last season, helping Seaman post a 28-8 record while claiming the Centennial League title and advancing to the 5A state tournament for the first time since 2004. Brown finished the '20 season with 873 points, 324 digs and 39 service aces.
Zoe Canfield, Washburn Rural
Canfield turned in an oustanding freshman season for Rural in 2020, earning All-City and All-Centennial League first-team honors and All-6A honorable mention while being selected as the city newcomer of the year. Canfield helped the Junior Blues post a 35-6 record and a third-place finish in the 6A state tournament, contributing 626 assists and serving at 92.6 percent with 46 aces.
Leah Cook, Silver Lake
A junior outside hitter, Cook earned All-Mid-East League honorable mention last season, helping the Eagles post a 26-12 record while registering 180 kills on the season.
Brooklyn DeLeye, Washburn Rural
DeLeye, who orally committed to Kentucky earlier this summer, is already a two-time All-City, All-Centennial League and All-Class 6A first-team pick while helping lead the Junior Blues to second and third-place 6A state finishes as a freshman and a sophomore. DeLeye compiled 536 kills last fall for 35-6 Rural in 2020, eclipsing the 1,000 kill mark for her career in just two seasons. DeLeye also contributed 325 digs while serving 92.1 percent with 40 service aces.
Brooklyn Gormley, Seaman
A sophomore middle hitter, Gormley earned varsity playing time for Seaman last season as s freshman, helping the Vikings post a 28-8 record while garnering the Centennial League championship and their first berth in the 5A state tournament since 2004.
Kali Henry, Shawnee Heights
A senior, Henry is a top returner for Shawnee Heights, earning second-team All-City recognition the past two seasons while also earning second-team All-United Kansas Conference honors last fall.
Jada Ingram, Washburn Rural
Ingram became a key player for Washburn Rural last season as a freshman, helping the Junior Blues post a 35-6 record and finish third in the 6A state tournament. Ingram received second-team All-City and All-Centennial League recognition.
Taylor Russell, Washburn Rural
A junior, Russell earned second-team All-6A and first-team All-6A state tournament honors last season after helping the Junior Blues go 35-6 on the year en route to a third-place finish in the 6A state tournament. Russell was a first-team All-City and second-team All-Centennial League pick, registering 305 kills and 191 digs while serving 92.5 percent with 51 service aces.
Taylor Ross, Silver Lake
Ross, a 6-foot junior middle hitter, has had to bounce back from double knee surgery after contributing 171 kills and 91 blocks last season for Silver Lake, which posted a 26-12 record.
Taylin Stallbaumer, Seaman
Stallbaumer became an immediate contributor for the Vikings last season as a freshman, helping 28-8 Seaman win the Centennial League championship and advance to the 5A state tournament for the first time since 2004. Stallbaumer was named the Centennial League newcomer of the year and earned second-team All-City honors.
