A junior, Barkley scored 20 points, with 3 3-pointers and a 7 of 9 performance at the free throw line, as Cair Paravel took a 46-40 road win at Olathe Heritage Christian to improve to 3-2 on the season.

MARANDA BELL, Shawnee Heights

A junior, Bell won the 191-pound championship at Saturday's Blue Valley Southwest Invitational, recording four straight pins. Ranked No. 2 in Division I, Bell improved to improve to 12-0 this season with 12 pins.

HUNTER BENTLEY, Washburn University

Bentley, a senior, scored a game-high 27 points Saturday as Washburn ended a layoff of more than three weeks with a 61-49 MIAA road victory at Missouri Western. Bentley went 8 of 13 from the field, with four 3-pointers, and hit all seven free throw attempts.

ELIJAH BROOKS, Topeka West

Coming off an injury, the Charger junior scored 28 points with three 3-pointers as Topeka West's boys remained unbeaten with a 78-60 come-from-behing Centennial League win over Hayden on Friday and scored 29 points in West's 76-50 win over Emporia on Tuesday.

NiJAREE CANADY, Topeka High

Canady, a junior, scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in Topeka High's 92-34 Centennial League win over Junction City Saturday and followed that up with 22 points in Monday's 72-33 win over Hayden as the Trojans improved to 5-0.

ZACHARY CLARK, Cair Paravel

Clark, a junior, scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds Monday night as the Lions rallied from a 15-point deficit to take a 75-65 win over Kansas City Christian. Clark scored 25 points last Friday in an 83-75 loss to Olathe Heritage Christian.

AUSTIN FAGER, Washburn Rural

Fager, a junior 170-pounder, recorded a 13-0 major decision in last Friday's dual wrestling meet with Blue Valley Southwest, clinching the top-ranked Junior Blues' 40-36 victory over the Timberwolves.

TYLER GEIMAN, Washburn University

Geiman, a senior guard, is the MIAA Player of the Week after WU went 1-1 with a win over No. 1-ranked Northwest Missouri before falling at No. 22-ranked Missouri Western. Geiman averaged 23 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals on the week

CARLY STUKE, Hayden

A junior, Stuke returned from the holiday break to score a game-high 23 points, hitting 3 3-pointers and going 6 of 6 at the free throw line, in a 65-47 Centennial League victory over Topeka West. Stuke added 18 points, with 4 3s, in a Monday night loss to Topeka High.
